OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE CLINIC

The Occupational Medicine Branch is responsible for providing medical support and expert medical input for Shuttle and ISS MMOP, AMB, Aerospace Dive Medical Board, ISS Acoustic Working Group, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Working Group and CCT/AED; providing expertise to Shuttle, ISS and institutional in the area of radiation health and safety; management and oversight of the JSC Occupational Health Program, and establishing guidelines and policies relating to all JSC Occupational Health. Responsibilities also include providing medical surveillance to all human test and research activities at JSC and WSTF, providing occupational health training (classroom and computer based), providing support in developing and maintaining of JSC Institutional occupational health standard operating procedures, and supporting JSC Safety and Health committees involving occupational health development and maintenance of the institutional occupational health standard operating procedures.
